Pezzini Farms: Home of the Deep-Fried Artichoke

In hindsight, maybe I should have opted for GPS.

They said it was right off the freeway.  I forgot to ask, "Which freeway?"

Notice the lack of activity. I had to opt for ice cream in
 Santa Cruz.

  1. Bummer!!! I was interested in what you thought of the Deep Fried Artichoke. Guess I'll have to take Sherry's word for it that they're amazing.

But what a day so far! Nit Wit Ridge being the highlight I would think. Well...maybe not. One would think risking blood flow to feed an ostrich might be at the top today.

  2. You know Lipitor is to battle the deep fried portion. You must take risks so us couch potatoes can live it up.

  3. Becky: I should have figured that Pezzini=Italians=Catholic=Closed on Easter Sunday.
Peter: I have no problem traveling over 1000 miles alone, walking downtown in the dark, biking among the disenfranchised, but it was really going to be a risk eating from the side of a truck.

  4. Haven't you heard that Food Trucks are now all the rage. Once thought of as a source of food for the migrant workers, now has a big following. They even have food truck events, where a group of them will coral together at a certain location. And you can use your iPhone to locate where they will be on any one day. Most of the food is greasy and tasty, some of it specializes in the natural and good for you. Who knows, add the app to your iPhone and you may be able to add that to your trip. Especially if you happen to travel through Sacramento on your journeys. Do not fear, you may get to eat from a food truck before your journey completes.
